I am a UX/UI DESIGNER who enjoys FABRICATION & creating DIGITAL ART

I am a senior at Carnegie Mellon University studying Human Computer Interaction and Architecture. I am passionate about all things interactive. I am interested in creating simple and meaningful solutions for complex problems to transform digital and spatial experiences.

What drives my designs. . .

01

Identify Problems

Design is all about problem solving, but half of the process is being able to identify the problem. I would consider defining the problem the most important step in the design process because working towards a solution becomes much easier with a well defined problem statement. What's your design solving if you're working towards a problem that doesn't exist?

02

Stay Uncomfortable

I was comfortable and familiar with architecture, but wanted to take advantage of what CMU had to offer. This led me to exploring courses in the HCI department, where I found a new passion. HCI was my solution. In order to come up with solutions while designing I need to be prepared to explore, think differently, and stay uncomfortable.

03

Consider All People

I am interested in exploring how we can work towards incorperating inclusive design, whether it be in conversational design or web design. There are so many biases, which are apparent in how we currently design. I want to work towards creating solutions not creating barriers.
